The participants will be given a take away kit . This kit comprises the necessary components and equipments
The parts provided are of international standards. There will be no compromise in quality and functioning.
The take away kit consists of the following:
1) GS Racing XUT kit
2) AM Remote transmitter with specific frequency along with shock resistant receiving unit
2.4 Ghz frequency remote transmitters are optional for additional Rs 2000 in lieu that the AM transmitter will be replaced by this.
3) Tools required for dismantling and assembling the car, Transmitter batteries (8 nos), Receiver batteries (4 nos), 5 tanks of fuel and Glow plug booster, fuel bottle etc.
4) The most important of all, complete INFORMATION about SUB SYSTEM tuning and performance control
Registration Fee:
The workshop registration fee is Rs. 12,000 only. The total workshop fee including the cost of the take away kit is Rs.24,000. This is the best deal price available in India and one cannot get this kit anywhere at this price. The simxtreme simulator is optional. Participants requiring simXtreme will have to pay an additonal amount of Rs. 3500 during the registration itself.
The details of payment modes will be mailed to you.

The workshop will be a multi variety one including automotive dynamics, race strategy planning and driving during race, manufacturing of different RC car components and how to build RC tanks and other modified vehicles from the existing RC car and an exclusive session at the Race track, comprising engine tuning and demonstration by expert racers and pros.
In short, you will be made an expert in remote controlled cars. All the sessions and lectures will be handled by pros and expert racers in this field.
DAY I:
Session I: Basics of RC cars and their working principles
A session wherein all the nook details of the RC cars and vehicles are discussed by eminent people working in this field for decade. Following the basics, the vehicle dynamics will be dealt with, giving a basic idea as how a vehicle performs during a race.
Session II:
Fabrication techniques and Subsystem tuning and maintenance of RC cars
This session deals with the basic manufacturing processes and techniques to fabricate the components. Expert strategies to make use of the components to build different vehicles like a 3 wheeler, RC tank etc. Assembly of the kit with the assistance of the instructors.
DAY II:
Practice run at professional track with perfect engine tuning and driving techniques by pro racers.
NOTE:
The RC car kits provided to the participants are of International standards and are ensured for using them in the various RC car events and races held in various colleges like IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, NIT’s and many other institutions.

* Animate: Virtual reality. The participants will have to design an animated scene for the scenario given (using likes of 3D Studio Max ).
* Mobila Mobila: The participants will have to design a mobile application for the given theme/problem statement.
* Gaming unplugged: This is a game design event. The participants will have to mail design and send their game executables.
* Multilingua: The participants write polyglots (a computer program or script written in a valid form of multiple programming languages, which performs the same operations or output independently of the programming language used to compile or interpret it.) for the problems given.
* Haiku: The name says it all. For the problem(s) given, the solution program must be as short as possible (in terms of no of characters n lines)
* Tech hunt/Hacking: Participants will have to use the clues, solve riddles n advance to the next level. Certain rounds could involve hacking also. )
ONSITE EVENTS:
* Tech talk: Paper presentation. Participants must submit papers based on the specified topics.
* Software Demo
